FISHING CAPS, UK
In the next instalment of the Navitas Blog, we take a look at some of our super popular headwear range!
Now, when I go fishing it is very rare that I leave the house without some form of headwear on, in the colder months I will wrap my noggin in something like a Beanie or a full on Bobble hat but for the majority of the month, I’ll be repping a baseball cap of some description.
Baseball caps, snapbacks and truckers are all becoming very popular with anglers so let’s take a look at a few of my favourites from the Navitas range.
First though, there is the obligatory fun fact!
It is said that in 1860, the Brooklyn Excelsiors baseball team first wore what we now know as the baseball cap, sadly they lost the game but thankfully the baseball cap was born!
Now aside from being a fashion item, I think baseball style caps do have a place in fishing and I love mine on sunny days when paired with a good quality set of polaroid sunglasses, it certainly helps me to spot the fish and keep the sun out of my eyes.
Anyway, on we go with my three favourite designs!
